Although they have been separated since 2016, Ant McPartlin and Lisa Armstrong have experienced similar Christmases with lots of nappies and crying this year.
The former husband and wife ended their 12-year marriage and Ant went on to marry his former assistant Anne-Marie Corbett in August, 2021.
The TV presenter welcomed a son, Wylder, with his second wife in May and experienced his first Christmas as a father this year as a result.
Although both Lisa and Ant did not share pictures on social media over the festive period, the 48-year-old revealed that her own family has expanded too.
The make-up artist posted a series of adorable snaps of a baby in a sweet elephant print baby-grow as she congratulated his parents and shared that he had been born on St Stephen’s Day.
Captioning the post, Lisa wrote: ‘Introducing baby Bowers. Congratulations @morgan.brookex and @bowerz17 He’s just perfect! Jude John-Noel born 26/12/24 5lb 5oz. Great Aunty Cise can’t wait to meet you baby boy.’
Lisa also took a swipe at her ex, sharing a quote to her story which read: ‘Cheers to the people who love us, the losers who lost us, and the lucky f***ers who get to meet us.’
The 48-year-old then posted a cryptic quote which referenced the struggles she faced this year, reading: ‘You spent 2024 in survival mode. 2025 is your time to rise, rebuild, and thrive.’
Lisa currently shares joint custody of her pet dog Hurley whom she co-owns with Ant, but according to reports, she wants sole possession of him – something Ant is not willing to give.
However, the dog-mom is said to be adamant on getting sole custody of the chocolate Labrador, whom she regularly refers to as ‘Mama’s baby boy’ on her social media stories.
Ahead of the 2024 series of I’m A Celebrity… an insider told OK! Magazine that Ant was finding the thought of being away from Anne- Marie and Wylder hugely difficult.
They added: ‘Anne-Marie and Ant are going to stay in constant communication and FaceTime lots, but he is worried about the time difference. When he wakes up, Anne Marie will have put Wilder to bed, so, it’s tough to navigate.’
‘Ant has made sure Anne Marie has a strong support system back home and he knows Wilder will be safe with his mum, he will just be missing them a lot,’ the source concluded. Thankfully, Ant was back in no time and he could resume parental duties just in time for Christmas.
