Kayleigh McEnany, the former White House Press Secretary and current Fox News contributor, is preparing to welcome her second child — a baby boy due this June — and she’s just revealed something truly special: his name.

In a heartfelt interview released this week, McEnany shared the joy and meaning behind her baby’s name, which she and her husband, former MLB pitcher Sean Gilmartin, say is unlike any other. According to McEnany, after months of prayer, discussion, and research, they chose a name that is so rare, it doesn’t appear to be shared by anyone else in the United States.

Although McEnany did not disclose the exact name in the interview, she offered clues about its origin and significance. The name reportedly has biblical inspiration and ties to virtues the couple hopes to instill in their son — courage, conviction, and kindness.

“It’s a name that honors our faith and what we believe God is doing in our family’s life,” she said. “It’s unique, but also timeless.”

McEnany and Gilmartin are known for being open about their Christian faith, which often plays a central role in their public and private lives. Their daughter, Blake Avery, born in 2019, was also given a name with personal meaning, and the couple said they wanted to continue that tradition with their son.

One of the most striking things about their baby name choice is that — according to McEnany — no one else in the country appears to have it. She and her husband combed through public databases, naming websites, and baby name registries in the U.S., and couldn’t find a single person with the same name.

“We were shocked, honestly,” McEnany admitted. “In a world where it feels like every name has been taken a thousand times over, it’s rare to find something so uniquely yours.”

Still, the couple is prepared for some surprise reactions once the name is officially announced.

“Some people might be surprised when they hear it — it’s definitely not traditional,” she said with a laugh. “But it’s filled with meaning for us, and that’s what matters most.”

As she nears her due date, McEnany said the family is filled with anticipation and gratitude. She’s balancing work with parenting, faith, and preparations for the arrival of her baby boy.

“This season of life is beautiful and a little chaotic, but we’re soaking in every moment,” she said. “Blake is so excited to be a big sister, and Sean and I are just overwhelmed with love and thankfulness.”

Though the name remains a mystery to the public for now, McEnany hinted that she may share it officially around the time of the birth in June — possibly with a sweet social media announcement or a faith-inspired message to her followers.

“We’ll be ready to share when the time feels right,” she said. “Until then, we’re just holding this name close to our hearts.”
